Following a well-deserved holiday, Nathalie Stutzmann returns to Japan and has the great honor to share once again the podium with her mentor Maestro Seiji Ozawa at Matsumoto’s Seiji Ozawa Festival. With two concerts on August 25 and 27, Nathalie will lead Saito Kinen Orchestra in Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7 and Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn with vocal soloist Lydia Teuscher, Seiji Ozawa will lead Beethoven’s Leonore No. 3 Overture.

Nathalie Stutzmann and Seiji Ozawa have collaborated on many occasions in the past, including recordings and a first series of concerts sharing the podium in 2014. Watch them conduct Mendelssohn and Beethoven at Mito Arts Tower here.
