Launching residency in São Paulo

Nathalie Stutzmann just arrived in São Paulo where she will be an artist in residency throughout the year with the OSESP, the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra. A full and rich project that will lead her to conducting, singing and teaching.

She’s starting the residency this month, giving 3 concerts on April 11th, 12th and 13th in which she’ll be singing Mozart and Wagner’s ”Wesendonck Lieder” with Sir Richard Armstrong conducting, a ”France-Germany: a mutual love” piano recital with Inger Södergren on April 16th and a lieder Masterclass for students.

In Baden-Baden for the Magic Flute

Nathalie Stutzmann is back in an opera production to sing the Third Lady in Mozart’s Magic Flute at the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden from March 23rd! In a stage direction by Robert Carsen, her fellow singers will be, amongst others, Pavol Breslik, Dimitry Ivashchenko, Michael Nagy, Magdalena Kožená, Annick Massis and José Van Dam, with Sir Simon Rattle conducting the Berlin Philharmonic.

Nathalie Stutzmann nominated Best lyrical artist of the year at the Victoires de la Musique Classique

Invited last year at the 2012 Victoires de la Musique Classique for her album ”Prima Donna”, Nathalie Stutzmann is back again this year as a nominee in the ”Best lyrical artist of the year” category. Presented by Louis Laforge and Frédéric Lodéon, the ceremony will take place on Monday 25th February at the Bordeaux Auditorium and will be broadcast live on TV channel France 3 and radios France Inter and France Musique from 8.45pm.
