On June 1 and 3 Nathalie Stutzmann will be the featured contralto soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, in Mahler’s Symphony No. 2. Music Director Christoph Eschenbach leads the performances which also include South African soprano Golda Schultz and The Washington Chorus. Last season, Nathalie’s performance of works by Mahler at the Kennedy Center was heralded by The Washington Post as “a real pleasure” and “delicious caramel”.
Nathalie will travel to Washington again early next season, this time making her highly anticipated return as conductor at the head of NSO following her critically acclaimed debut in 2015.
